Completed LayoutsLori (b)Kim (b)Amy (b)KendreaHeather (b)Mindy (b)Howdy SiStaZ! I cannot believe it's Week 08! Sorry I am a bit late... Derek and I had to grocery shop....
really grocery shop last night... Sam's Club, Meijer, etc., in order to fill the fridge with more than a bottle of mustard! LOL! Then, at the last minute, I had the opportunity to spend a few late evening hours with my parents. I had to take the opportunity because, with them living up north, it's tough to find a few hours to spend time together. It was fun... we watched the last episode of The Bachelor with them and my sister. HILARIOUS to listen to my dad's humorous comments about the show (he has
never watched it before and was quite entertained with the concept! LOL!
I am plugging along with the challenges (in between reorganizing!!! my scrapbook room!). Love these challenges....love that when I have a few minutes to scrapbook I am focused... I have a goal in my... and don't aimlessly look through idea books and magazines because I already have pages to refer to (yours and the actual challenges!). Keep up the amazing work... ;)
Challenge 08a - Event
This is a little less "simple" than previous Challenges, but I like that it looks "clean." I really like the numbered list for journaling and it looks like they used rubber stamps for some of it... which I (we) have a ton of! A few ideas that come to mind for page topics...
1. Scrap Sistaz Scrap Program
2. Documenting my college classes (Education Specialist Program)
3. Could be your program of... applying for a job... being a stay-at-home-mom... a manager at work... your book club... your child's movie collection... your husband's movie collection... how about your Tivo list... or your IPod list...
Challenge 08b - Feelings
Love the circles on this page... simple, but cute. It would be a great way to use up those scraps (if you keep them).
1. Why not document a nickname you have for... your significant other.... child... pet... other family member.... car (I remember my grandma used to call her car "Ole Betsey")
2. Dig out and dust off those old punches... I think replacing the circles with hearts or stars or some other fun punch shape would be cool... or maybe your could use a die cut from one of your cutting systems?!?
Have a scraptabulous week ladies!!
