Hello ladies~ back and at 'em! Can't believe the whirlwind of a vacation we went on... an unbelievable experience, but a double edged sword because there are so many projects I want to get caught up on home... one being these Scrap Challenges. I assure you I have not abandoned the mission, just pushed it down the list. I WILL do them (all), it will just be sporadic. Believe it or not, I'm still trying to get my childhood pictures in order (lucky me... my aunt gave me tons of pictures of my childhood that came from my grandma's house~ I treasure them!) and some others. I'll get there. As we know... scrapbookers are in a constant state of organization! Love all the pages that have been created so far and thanks for being such inspirations to each of the other members in this group... love ladies supporting other women in life's journey... whatever it may be!
Challenge 13a - Event
*All of the event pages to this point have been two-pages, but I love this layout. If you are committed two-page scrapbooker I think you could easily turn this into a two-page layout.
*I'm envisioning a pages just like in the pictures... your children playing a water (gun) game in the yard on a hot summer day... maybe they are playing with a garden hose... or perhaps water balloons
*Another idea is family game night... do you have pictures of your family having a Monopoly or Uno showdown? Perfect for this layout challenge.
*Or use the bright colors to document and fun summer activity
Challenge 13b - Feelings
*I love this layout, especially the big letters for the title (Hello, Cricut!). My idea is to use a picture of Derek wearing either his summer "fishing" hat (He doesn't fish, but it looks like a fishing hat to me) or the Detroit "D" baseball hat he wears everywhere (he's actually on his second or third one because the previous hats became so worn and dirty).
*You could use any story of a particular clothing piece someone in the family loves to wear or what about your significatn other's work uniform or their usual work outfit... or how about a particular sweatshirt or t-shirt you always wear (Amy, I'm think your pink Crocs if you haven't already scrapped about them)
*Take a look around your house... maybe there is one thing that moves you... use it as the subject of this page!
Happy Scrapping!
